Natalie Klinefelter is the Broker and Owner of The Legacy Real Estate Co. and a proud San Diego native. Her upbringing in Bay Park—where her parents still live today—shaped a deep appreciation for home, community, and the role real estate plays across generations. That foundation continues to influence her work and the values behind her brokerage.

Natalie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising from Hawaii Pacific University before returning to San Diego, where she completed an Event Management Certificate at the University of San Diego. She began her professional career with the San Diego County Apartment Association in the Events Department and later launched her own event planning business. These early years built a strong skill set in marketing, logistics, coordination, and relationship management—skills that would later become central to her real estate career.

While running her event company, Natalie joined a real estate brokerage to assist with marketing and home sale auctions. What began as a marketing role quickly evolved into a passion for real estate itself. In 2010, she obtained her California real estate license, recognizing that real estate was the ideal intersection of strategic planning, creative marketing, negotiation, and client advocacy.

Before launching The Legacy Real Estate Co., Natalie worked alongside a Broker/Investor at a boutique brokerage, serving as Director of Real Estate Sales. She played an integral role in acquiring investment properties, overseeing renovation and rehabilitation strategies, managing resale efforts, and supporting day-to-day brokerage operations. In 2016, she earned her California Real Estate Broker’s license. With more than 200 properties sold, opening her own brokerage became a natural next step.

Today, Natalie leads her brokerage with a philosophy rooted in service, trust, and long-term relationships. She holds the Senior Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®) designation, reflecting advanced training in the unique financial, emotional, and logistical considerations involved in helping seniors and their families navigate housing transitions. She brings creativity, flexibility, and problem-solving to every transaction, with deep experience in complex real estate matters. She is especially passionate about working with seniors, families, and estates—guiding clients through meaningful transitions with clarity, care, and respect.

Natalie believes that real estate is never just a transaction. Whether helping clients prepare a home for sale, navigate a major life change, or plan for the future, her approach is intentionally personal and collaborative—focused on adding value rather than applying pressure. Her work reflects a commitment to thoughtful solutions, adaptability, and community impact.

Outside of work, Natalie’s life with her husband and daughters mirrors many of the same skills she brings to her profession—negotiation, coordination, patience, and dedication. Often described as an “old soul with a modern edge,” she blends relationship-driven service with today’s marketing tools to ensure her clients receive both personal attention and maximum exposure.

Natalie’s core belief is simple: when approached thoughtfully and at the right time, real estate can be one of the most powerful tools for building stability and long-term wealth. A home is where legacy begins—and she is honored to guide her clients through every step of that journey.
